Crescent Lake
Real Estate in Pinellas County
Crescent Lake Homes for sale - Crescent Lake Community
The Focal
Point of St. Petersburg’s Crescent Lake Neighborhood
is the 56 acre park which surrounds Crescent Lake, the neighborhood’s
namesake. In the South portion of the neighborhood is Huggins-Stengel
Field, originally erected to be the spring training field
for the New York Yankees, now used by the Tampa Bay Devil
Rays. The developer, Perry Snell held on to the parcels of
land while the neighborhood was being developed in order to
insure that the City of Saint Petersburg could purchase them
to retain for a park for the neighborhood. Crescent Lake Park
has lighted tennis courts and is also dog friendly.
