Buy a Home With Loan from Chase, the Most Searched Bank
Published by nora | Filed under Buyer / Seller Tips, Market Trends, Miscellaneous, Mortgage / Finance, Real Estate
Chase must be offering better services such as bank accounts and home loans as it is the most searched bank in the U.S. and in the world, based on web traffic rankings as of March 2011 by Quantcast, a web analytics and media measurement service.
One of the most-frequently used keyword used to reach the Chase website is Chase mortgage, so the Chase home loan must have an attraction for people planning to buy a home.
In the Quantcast ranking, the Chase website is the 54th most searched website and the most searched bank. With about 285 million sites now online, being No. 54 among all types of sites and being No. 1 among banking sites means Chase is giving something people want. About 16.8 million people in the U.S. are visiting chase.com every month.
Chase is even more trafficked than Bank of America, which is at No. 57, with 16.1 million site visitors every month. The two other largest U.S. banks, Wells Fargo and Citibank, are 75th and 315th in traffic respectively.
Chase also ranks high on Alexa and Compete, two other web measurement services. Chase is ranked 33rd on Alexa and has the highest monthly traffic among banks on Compete, with 24.58 million monthly hits.
Chase offers five types of home loans:
Fixed-Rate Mortgage – The rate remains the same over the term of the loan which can be from 10 to 40 years.
Adjustable-Rate Mortgage – This loan is ideal for borrowers who plan to move in five to ten years. The rate is fixed for the first 5, 7 or 10 years of the loan and then adjusts once every year thereafter.
Jumbo Mortgage – Fixed loans can be up to 30 years while ARMs can be from 10 to 40 years. ARMs with the first five to ten years fixed, such as 5/1, 7/1 or 10/1, are also offered.
DreaMaker Mortgage – This is offered to those with some credit concerns. It can be fixed or adjustable and can have a term of up to 40 years.
FHA Mortgage – The main advantage of this loan is its low down payment requirement, as it’s guaranteed by the government. It can be fixed or adjustable and can have a term of up to 30 years.
Chase has also launched a special home loan program for active military personnel and veterans. For personnel protected by the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, it will reduce the effective mortgage rate to 4 percent while the borrower is in active service and one year after. This new program is in addition to the existing programs run by Chase for service members such as military specialists’ homebuying counseling assistance for first time home buyers.
