Move from the Cold Winters to Warm Homes in Sunny Florida
Published by nora | Filed under Buyer / Seller Tips, Miscellaneous, Real Estate, Shout Outs
More cold winters are coming, according to weather forecaster AccuWeather.com. It says that the next winter could be much colder than this year’s winter and that three or four of the next five winters could be as cold as this winter, which is most likely to become the coldest for the U.S. since the 1980s.
The cold could stay for some more weeks in many states, from the Plains to the Northeast, and could persist until April in certain states. In major cities such as Boston, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and Minneapolis, temperatures have been averaging below normal since December 1 last year. The persistent colder-than-normal conditions and the lack of respite from the cold have been hard on a number of people.
So if you’re now getting downed by the cold both in body and in spirit, consider moving to where the sun comes out nearly every day of the year – to Florida, and specifically to Tampa where there are a lot of great deals on Tampa homes.
Right now, while in at least 33 other states, people are freezing from the cold, and reeling from the monster winter storm, here in Tampa, the temperature is 69 degrees Fahrenheit – great for hunting, fishing and gardening. If you’re into other outdoor sports, the weather is just fine. Some weather forecasters in Florida even say it feels a little like were in early spring.
In Florida, the average temperature for the entire year is about 73 degrees F. During the months January and February, when most other states are freezing, the temperature here is still warm at 61 to 63 degrees.
So while people in the Northeast are worrying about the next Groundhog Storm after suffering from it this week, residents of Florida are going on with their lives, soaking up the warmth of the sun.
This physical sense of warmth is not the only benefit one can get from the sunny weather in Florida. There’s also the financial benefit. Homeowners in Florida save on heating costs that are turning to be a big problem for households in ice- and snow-overwhelmed states. During these times when every cent matters, any saving on utility bills is a much-welcomed bonus.
There’s also the psychological benefit. Medical scientists have found that the cold and the lack of sunlight have a downer effect on human beings. For some, the symptoms are so debilitating that the term seasonal affective disorder (SAD) or winter blues has been created for them.
In Florida, the sun will most of the time be there to cheer us up.
Come to where the sun is – Florida. Let the warmth and sunlight embrace you and your family. Contact Tampa4U.com now. It has lots of great deals on Tampa homes.
