In the earlier part of the century when the boxer revolt took place the western people made the biggest mistake that they could by breaking the basic principle relating to feng shui. They started copying the Chinese Architecture without any in sight knowledge of Chinese architecture. They basically never paid any attention to these Chinese traditions as they never had any interest in these traditions so never gave them any importance. At the time when Richard Nixon came to China in the year 1972 then the westerners began to consider this filed of knowledge and fundamental basis relating to feng shui.
The re-invention relating to feng shui came in the new age with millions of westerners becoming entrepreneurs. The reason for their keen interest stemmed from the small fact that Feng Shui brought out the magical mystery and overall order that Americans lacked in their life. With Feng Shui taking on an American twist there were a few fundamentals that were added which were still based on complete Chinese tradition. The first of these is the Black Sect this account relating to feng sui was seen emerging at the start of 1980′s and Thomas Lin developed, he had migrated from Taiwan and had settled in the USA. As Feng Shui is known to strictly rely on a certain number of physical and well as metaphysical factors, they are still prevalant in the American style relating to feng shui. However, the concepts are transcendental methods, the use of intentions and affirmations, and the overall idea of clutter being used as a metaphor for life events. The second factor is Shen Dao Feng Shui the American Scholar Harrison G. King formed this form relating to feng shui in the later part of the 1970′s. The Shen Dao Feng Shui was the founder school in this area in the United Kingdom, where this form relating to feng sui was based on both the knowledge of the form itself and the compass teachings.
The shen dao is seen to make use of the various elements to assess the health and over all harmony within its clients physical self and in respect to its surroundings. This method enables them to get a deeper and more accurate sense and idea of the problems that may be present in the harmony of that individual. The BTB style relating to feng shui is one, which has a unique type of formula that was given by specially by the Bagua in this there are eight different area of the traditional compass used and each one of those segments represents a different part of an individuals life. The shen dao style relating to feng shui is seen t be very similar to the BTB style in the sense that it too makes use of the compass segments and that also gets the results however it is seen that the division of segments is much larger using 300 segments and subsegments to get a finer and clearer result.
