What Celebrities Look for in Real Estate
Published by julia | Filed under Celebrity Real Estate, Miscellaneous, Real Estate, Shout Outs
House hunting for the common man involves setting a budget and touring house after house trying to stay within that budget. When it comes to celebrity real estate, there are a few more aspects that need to be addressed. Celebrities need space, security and privacy in order to live at least a small amount of the normal life on a day to day basis.
Space is one of the most recognizable aspects of celebrity homes. The larger the celebrity, the larger the homes they buy. The square footage of a home purchased by a celebrity is nearly a direct reflection on how much money they have earned or how famous they are. Ranging in square footage from a modest 6,000 square feet up to 60,000 square feet and beyond, celebrity homes are not lacking in room to roam and play.
Security is another very important aspect of celebrity home searches. With news media, sneaky paparazzi and photographers around every corner, celebrity homes and real estate needs to be secure and protected at all times. The concern of security is even more pronounced for celebrities with families. It seems that the media will do anything for that next big story and just the right amount of security is needed to keep out the curious cameras.
Privacy runs hand in hand with security. A celebrity home needs to be set back as far from an entranceway as possible. Large gates, tall privacy walls and trees are all used to protect a homes windows, doors and yards from view. The more famous a person, the more stressed they are to find a piece of real estate that offers just a bit of privacy from the outside world.
Celebrities can buy any piece of real estate they desire. Unfortunately they need to think the space they want to enjoy, the security they will need and at least a small amount of privacy from the outside world. Celebrity real estate is all about being big in every way.
