Why Brits and Europeans should buy in Tampa
Published by admin | Filed under Miscellaneous, Real Estate, Shout Outs
The English people love Orlando. Without a doubt. Drive thru International Drive and it will not be hard to miss them. They’re the ones with rosy cheeks and freshly sunburned skins. Oh, the theme parks and water parks… Some of their local TV shows offer a trip to Orlando as a Grand Prize. It’s paradise. Can you blame them? Once they’re in Florida they are in a state of Euphoria. Their currency is very much stronger than ours and our real estate is very much affordable than theirs. Say, Lovey, maybe we can buy a flat here, or two and rent the other one … Mummy, can we live here?… please? And so they do. This is what fuels the British and European investment here in Florida.
But allow me, if I can, to interject a very important city that you investors may have overlooked: Tampa. Why? It’s only an hour away from Orlando’s Theme parks and 45 minutes from a 20 mile stretch of white sandy Gulf of Mexico beaches. Best of all, our real estate in Tampa is much less than Orlando’s. We really have lots to offer in Tampa but those are the three main selling points. We’re also about 45 minutes to Sarasota - and there again another 15 miles or so of pristine white sandy beaches stretching from Anna Maria Island to Siesta Key. If you love the beach, an occasional trip to the theme parks , and still enjoy the amenities of city living, you’ll get a lot of bang for your Euro and Pounds here in Tampa. The only thing about Tampa is that we have crazy drivers here. So, if you drive on the other side of the road, they may not even notice. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.. but that’s your call:) - You MUST check out Tampa on your next trip to Orlando.
