One of the objectives in our plan is to establish a greater presence in areas surrounding Brandon to better serve our members. As a result, the newly formed Bloomingdale/Winthrop Area Council held its first meeting on February 5th at the Winthrop Barn Theatre. Over 30 businesses were represented and a lot of great ideas were shared. This new council is one of several we plan to form to create a forum where members can address more locally targeted issues.
